JOB SUMMARY:
The Operations Manager is tasked with overseeing both the Field Techs, Sales/Estimating, and Project Management departments, ensuring smooth operations and efficient functioning. They bear responsibility for all facets of these departments. This role will develop SOPs, maintain budget, achieve sales goals, and work with the BUL for operational success.
DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Focus on short term and long-term needs for efficiency and growth.
- Monitors and assists the office staff as necessary
- Assists the BUL with performance reviews of personnel
- Oversees day to day operations of business
- Manage the Bid Calendar and assign projects to the estimating team.
- Foster the development of a high-performing team through supervision, training, coaching, and mentoring.
- Ensure sales orders and contracts are being fulfilled
- Leads monthly sales and backlogs meetings in conjunction with BUL
- Maintain company vehicle maintenance, repairs, and registration requirements.
- Responsible for inventory control and warehouse organization
- Work with BUL to clean up un-used stock items and mark inactive
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Able to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to customers and team members.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, co-workers, and customers.
