Role Overview:

PDI Technologies is seeking a Fulfillment Technician to join our team. The Fulfillment Technician Tier 1 is responsible for handling the shipping and receiving for daily maintenance replacements and new installation. In this position you will handle cartons and pallets to process merchandise entering and leaving the fulfillment center. Job duties may include stocking (locating and removing pallets of merchandise in storage locations) and loading cartons onto pallets and pallets onto outbound trailers.

This position offers an hourly rate of $16.25 and will be onsite in our Lexington, KY office.

• Operate various equipment and machines, adjusting one or more variables to achieve efficiency
• Carry out operational tasks by following established processes. Involves working within given settings or parameters
• Deliver simple warehouse and store tasks to ensure all goods and supplies are stored and recorded following established procedures
• Complete routine packaging tasks and assist others by following established procedures
• Help to maintain and repair equipment and appliances by carrying out preparations and providing assistance while following strict, detailed instructions
• Conduct data entry into company systems, and review and verify the information to ensure accuracy and accessibility
• Follow a straightforward mandatory procedure to ensure that work is carried out to the required quality standards and/or to ensure adherence to external regulatory codes and internal codes of conduct
• Ability to navigate ECM and WorldShip for standard daily shipments and returns
• Following prescribed escalation policies to escalate incidents to Tier 2 Fulfillment technicians in a timely manner as to get the maximum amount of ordered processed daily
• Availability to work first or second shift and some Saturdays
  

• Verbal & Written Communication: Being able to communicate clearly and effectively to express ideas, request actions and formulate plans or policies
• Planning and Organizing: Ability to work with guidance (but not constant supervision) to plan, organize, prioritize and oversee activities to efficiently meet business objectives
• Storage: Ability to work with guidance (but not constant supervision) to optimize the storage of equipment and other materials
• Organization, proficiency in typing, and strong attention to detail
• Applicant must be self-motivated with a desire to work in a fast-moving environment
• Applicant should have an aptitude for customer care and interpersonal communications using patience, attentiveness, and empathy
• Applicant should have an aptitude for problem-solving in a highly technical environment involving an ability to diagnose technical issues and match appropriate resources to have the incident resolved as efficiently as possible
• 1-2 years of experience in related field or department is preferred
