Role Overview
We seek an experienced Professional Services Automation (PSA) Administrator with a deep knowledge of PSA software built on the Salesforce platform to optimize our PSA experience and ensure cross departmental teams have the tools they need to deliver successful outcomes for our customers. The ideal candidate will assist with the implementation of the chosen PSA solution, help drive adoption across the organization and promote ongoing process improvement within the application to optimize PDI’s return on investment. This position is integral to the success of PDI’s Professional Services organization and aligns well with the overall growth strategy of the company.
- Serve as the primary PSA System Administrator within Professional Services while working closely with Salesforce administrators in our Business Systems team that support the broader PDI Salesforce implementation
- Salesforce Administrator certification
- Function as the subject matter expert on the chosen PSA solution, Certinia, applying knowledge to address system related questions/concerns, while aligning business needs to the solution’s strengths and exploring new capabilities to derive more value from the platform over time
- Evaluate, test, and facilitate upgrades provided by our PSA solution partner, Certinia. Inform the organization about planned upgrades to ensure expectations are aligned with the upcoming change
- Manage the configuration, support, maintenance, and optimization of the PSA application inclusive of maintaining relevant documentation and providing user training
- Collaborate with various stakeholders and teams within PDI such as Professional Services, Project Management Office, Business Systems and Accounting/Finance to understand business needs and help determine how the PSA solution can best service those needs
- Operate as a champion of best practice usage within the PSA solution and craft strategies to increase user adoption
- 4 years of experience as a PSA Administrator, preferably with Certinia (formerly FinancialForce) or similar PSA systems on the Force.com platform
- Comprehensive knowledge of Salesforce features including Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, CPQ, and proficiency in Reports and Dashboards
- Understanding of Salesforce development concepts (Apex Classes, Triggers, JavaScript, Visualforce, Web Services, etc.). Actual development will be handled by a developer
- Ability to evaluate the impact of new requirements on Salesforce, PSA software, and related systems, processes, and integrations
- Self-motivated and adaptable, able to contribute independently in a fast-paced growth environment
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills, managing tasks with competing deadlines
- Familiarity with project management practices and related software tools
- Effective cross-functional communicator, skilled in building relationships, listening, influencing, and collaborating at all organizational levels
- Working knowledge of systems integrations (file-based, e.g., XML/CSV, or API-based)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design effective solutions for complex issues
- Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification is a plus but not required
