Role Overview
The Vice President, Global Accounts is responsible for the retention of current business, expansion of executive relationships and driving long term growth with the assigned account(s). This senior leadership role requires a combination of strategic vision, executive presence, sales expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment with corporate goals.
- Develop key executive and strategic relationships across client organizations
- Develop and execute a global account strategy to drive revenue growth and profitability
- Identify opportunities for expansion within existing accounts and new business opportunities
- Own and drive global revenue targets for assigned key accounts
- Develop customized value propositions and business cases to drive client adoption of solutions and services
- Partner with regional sales teams to implement coordinated global sales efforts
- Work closely with product, marketing, operations, and customer success teams to deliver tailored solutions
- Align global account strategies with company-wide initiatives and innovation roadmaps
- Ensure operational excellence in account delivery, execution, and service levels
- Define and track KPIs to measure success and drive continuous improvement
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to refine strategies
- Provide regular performance reports and business reviews to executive leadership
- Influence and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of customers organization; be an ambassador of PDI within customer’s walls around the globe
- 10 to 15 years of experience in software technology enterprise sales, account management, or business development, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven track record of managing and growing large, complex global accounts
- Deep expertise in B2B technology solutions preferably in Petroleum, Convenience, retail, hospitality, payments or a related industry
- Strong negotiation, consultative selling, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams across different regions
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Track record of building strong customer relationships
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- Ability to travel globally
