Applicants must be able to walk and stand on feet for extended period of time, lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs., crawl on hands and knees, climb a ladder and be able to work long hours. This position works outdoors year-round and therefore subject to all weather conditions, sometimes to include extreme cold and heat.
Education: Minimum High School Diploma or General Education Diploma equivalent
Experience: 3 years’ experience in Precast/Prestressed Industry desired

- Master detailing and repair techniques for both structural and architectural products.
- Master interpretation of shop drawings.
- Ensure all necessary information is recorded and/or communicated in a timely and accurate manner to the appropriate people
- Floating of employees between work areas based on backlog and capacity
- Manage efficient use of labor, materials, supplies and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with production and quality personnel.
- Inform Supervisor of any nonconformity of product, personnel issues, or equipment issues.
- Maintain library of detail and repair standard procedures, manuals, and various cementitious, epoxy, acrylic etc. repair and rubbing recipes.
- Conduct detailing and repair of product as needed.
- Review shop drawings to determine required finishes and detailing.
- Correct safety hazards, poor behavior and unsafe actions immediately
- Daily 5S compliance
- Maintain a safe work environment according to PDM safety rules, and report any injuries/problems promptly to the Area Manager.
- Make sure that all quality provisions are being followed, and continuously trying to improve our products and processes.
- Support Supervisor composing and maintaining cycle time information
- Responsible for leadership, organization, and motivation of Detail personnel.
- Work closely with production supervisors and foremen in order to determine product priority, placement, and provide information on production issues to help promote quality effort.
- Work closely with Quality Control to determine product to be repaired, repair procedures, and detailing issues.
