Hollow Core Production Foreman
Reports to: Batch Plant/Hollow Core Supervisor

- Accurately set up, verify, and pour structural hollow core and precast concrete products.
- Lead a crew of 3-6 individuals in an engaging manner that focuses on increasing productivity and lowering material costs while maintaining expected levels of safety and quality.
- Able to lead the crew to achieve goals without 100% direct in-person supervision. This position’s supervisor will be physically on-site 20-50% of the time.
- Identify and correct potential safety hazards before they become an issue
- Identify, understand, and report safety hazards and unsafe actions immediately.
- Proactively participate in safety program and training.
- Focus on developing and implementing strict quality standards required of precast concrete.
- Strive for zero quality non-conformances.
- Execute rigorous training and cross-training of employees.
- Provide consistent guidance, including start-of-day meetings, to set crew expectations and relay pertinent information.
- Set daily and weekly goals for the crew. Report on performance. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective action when goals are not achieved, or safety and quality issues arise.
- Communicate with crew and Leadership effectively and respectfully.
- Maintain tools, machinery, and batch plant and notify maintenance when necessary.
- Maintain facility so that is clean, uncluttered, safe, and well organized to reduce waste and optimize productivity.
- Manage inventory and loading of precast products.
- Complete required paperwork, including but not limited to Daily and Weekly Task Lists; Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Did I Forms, Time Sheets.
- Assist Batch Plant Operator and act as a valid back up.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge and Skills
- Proven leadership skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with running machines and construction equipment.
- Ability to read a tape measure and learn to read blueprints
- Willing to train
- Experience in a manufacturing or construction environment with 1 year experience leading a crew is required.
- Regularly required stand, push, pull, and kneel for extended periods.
- Regularly required to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to work long hours.
- Exposure to construction environment, including dust and noise.
- Exposure to seasonal outdoor elements including extreme heat and cold.
