Overall Mission
The Warehouse Technician is responsible for coordinating the receiving, materials management, and shipping of products in a manner consistent with company service and site-specific policies. A strong desire to work in a company that has a mission to improve the health of people around the world is required.
This role requires 2-3 years’ experience in working in a warehouse in a cold chain environment and will report to the Cold Chain Manager and work closely with the operations teams to organize international shipments and domestic shipments in line with temperature-control requirements, the Group QA & EHS policies, and the company Standard Operating Procedures.
Main Contribution
- Participate in the Warehouse Cold Chain team operational structure, set out by both GDP &
department/company SOPs with detailed documentation of all activities and immediate reporting of any deviations - Obtain a full and complete understanding of the department's responsibilities in relation to Packaging, Cold Chain & general transport requirements, maintaining current knowledge through regular review of SOPs and updates:
- Monitor, control, prepare and condition stock availability levels for TCP with thorough documentation
- Receipt or shipment of drug and biologics in accordance with CRYOPDP procedures and regulations, ensuring complete documentation of each transaction
- Stock control, including periodic cycle counts of product and packaging material with detailed reconciliation records
- Preparing & conditioning TCP including handling of phase change materials with comprehensive batch documentation
- Recording and data entering all information regarding temp-controlled packaging with verification of data accuracy
- Physical picking and packing of materials with complete documentation of each step
- Assist with preparing and charging vapor shipping tanks (dry shippers) with liquid nitrogen according to charging and safety procedures, maintaining detailed logs
- Receive empty shippers, clean, sanitize, and ready for next use, documenting all cleaning and qualification steps
- Communication with the logistics coordinators via TMS system, e-mail, and phone with prompt response times and clear documentation of all interactions
- Ensure that all freezers and refrigerators are functioning properly via monitoring systems, maintaining complete temperature logs and deviation reports
- Ensure all orders are prepared in accordance with the client's needs and as outlined in SOPs and CRYOPDP regulations, with thorough verification and documentation
- Comply with safety guidelines for handling materials and operating equipment, maintaining training records and incident reports
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization:
- Execute daily cleaning schedules for all warehouse areas according to GDP requirements
- Maintain cleanliness of loading dock and external areas, including waste management zones
- Document all cleaning activities in appropriate logs with date, time, and signature
- Ensure proper segregation and disposal of waste materials
- Keep all storage areas organized and free from debris
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and tools after each use
- Execute equipment maintenance and calibration program by:
- Following and documenting calibration schedules for temperature monitoring devices, scales, and measuring instruments
- Maintaining preventive maintenance schedules and logs for warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks
- Manage daily working relations with external agents such as packaging/transport suppliers & regional CRYOPDP facilities in ensuring that staff and agents comply with Packaging and Temperature Control requirements, documenting all communications and compliance verifications.
- Ensure that temperature monitoring is recorded for each cold storage unit with complete audit trails and immediate notification of any excursions
Working hours
Monday to Friday, but due to the nature of our 24/7 operation this position will be required to
assist with occasional out of hours and weekend coverage.
Specific Experience and Knowledge Required:
- 2-3 years’ experience in working in a warehouse in a cold chain environment.
- Safety culture and quality-oriented
- Working knowledge in cold chain management / strong in cold chain facilities
- Able to learn and operate data logger devices, handheld scanners, and other power
equipment as directed. - Strong knowhow on the CRYOPDP SOPs (could be learned on the field)
- Pharmaceutical and Biopharma knowledge
- Proficient in Excel, Google, WMS & TMS

Compensation: $25 hr.
