Yard Associate-Customer Service

As we continue to grow and expand our presence, we are seeking a customer focused Yard Associate to join our Sun Valley team.

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for assisting customers with their equipment needs and ensuring a smooth operation of our equipment rental and sales services. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

· Greet and assist customers with their equipment inquiries and needs.

· Load and unload equipment for customers, ensuring safe handling and transport.

· Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.

· Organize and maintain the yard, ensuring it is clean, safe, and orderly.

· Assist with inventory management, including tracking equipment and supplies.

· Collaborate with the sales and service teams to meet customer requirements.

· Provide product demonstrations and explain features and benefits to customers.

· Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

· Previous experience in customer service or a yard associate role preferred.

· Basic knowledge of various large equipment and their functions.

· Ability to operate forklifts, loaders, and other yard equipment (certification preferred).

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials.

· Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

· Ability to work in various weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
