What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Manager position at PDR CPAs and Advisors?
PDR CPAs Advisors is seeking a Tax Manager to join our team. As a Tax Manager, you will immediately begin building relationships with clients and work directly with clients while overseeing the day-to-day operations of tax engagements. You will be working closely to coach, develop, and grow PDR team members in providing clients trusted tax expertise and advise, while discovering solutions to complex tax issues.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review tax returns (individual, corporate, partnership and fiduciary)
- Research tax issues
- Manage client relationships
- Contribute to policies and procedures of the tax department
- Oversee, develop and train staff and senior employees
- Integral part of the practice development proces
Hiring Profile:
- 7 years of experience
- CPA preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Prior CPA firm experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be analytical, a self-starter, motivated, and organized
- Ability to juggle many projects simultaneously
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of the ProSystem fx product suite is a plus
