Overview :
As a Developer, you will be instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions within PDS. Your role involves designing and implementing robust BI solutions using Epic's Clarity and Caboodle databases using tools like Reporting Workbench, Radar, and SlicerDicer, as well as our internal relational databases and data warehouse using platforms such as Microsoft Power BI.
With proficiency in SQL programming and deep understanding of data modeling and relational databases, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver scalable BI solutions. Your expertise in data analysis and problem-solving will enable you to create intuitive dashboards and reports, ensuring that stakeholders can leverage data effectively to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiencies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to innovate within the healthcare sector, making a tangible impact through data-driven insights.
Responsibilities
Experience developing custom BI products including Epic Cogito BI stack and Microsoft Power BI.
Proficiency in SQL programming.
Certification in Epic Clarity PB data model and Epic Cogito; Caboodle certification preferred.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with excellent presentation abilities.
In-depth knowledge of relational databases, star schema, data lake, and data modeling.
Experience working with Data Warehouses.
Expertise in data and business analysis.
Strong problem-solving aptitude, debugging, and issue resolution skills.
Demonstrated ownership, commitment, and accountability in tasks and responsibilities.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience required in quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or similar), In lieu of degree, 5 years of professional experience is required.
6 years of related experience
3 years of experience with Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer and Cogito.
Preferred
Advanced degree in mathematics, statistics, or a related quantitative field.
Advanced knowledge of pricing methodologies and best practices
Familiarity in R and / or Python.
Proficiency in VBA and Excel Macros.
Familiarity in data mining, predictive modeling, and machine learning algorithms.
Familiarity with other Epic reporting solutions such as Radar, Metrics, SlicerDicer build.
Experience with healthcare data analytics.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
