The Senior Analyst, People Systems & Integrations provides technical support for our Incentive Compensation Management technology stack, focusing on integrations and data management between Workday HCM, Snowflake, and Anaplan. Reporting to the Director of People Systems, this role is part of a collaborative HRIS team that supports PDS’s People technology portfolio, including Workday, Cornerstone (Learning), iCIMS (ATS), and Anaplan (Compensation Planning and Modelling). This individual will closely partner with the Incentive Compensation, Data Management, and Product teams, acting as a subject-matter-expert on complex data structures and system integrations, and advocating for process, data and system efficiencies as PDS Health expands the Anaplan footprint.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily technical support in support of the Incentive Compensation Management program, focusing on integrations and data management between Workday HCM (Comp and Advanced Comp), Snowflake (EDM) and Anaplan (Compensation Planning and Modelling).
  • Partner with the Compensation and Incentive Management teams and provide in-depth analytical and technical support for individual applications as well as the overall end-to-end processes that include Workday, Snowflake, and Anaplan.
  • Troubleshoot issues, conduct analyses, and recommend improvements to systems and integrations that improve operational processes and data integrity.
  • Review, assess, and as required, develop Workday reports in support of compensation processing in Anaplan and data audits between systems.
  • Develop and document the data architecture/flow between Workday, Snowflake, and Anaplan, working with various stakeholders in People Services, IT, and Finance to facilitate, evaluate and drive understanding and improvements to complex integrations.
  • Analyze end-to-end processes and underlying data and integrations to actively audit and monitor data and integrations to assess and improve processes, integrations, and data integrity.
  • Participant in all phases of systems’ deployment lifecycle, working closely with stakeholders in upfront planning, documenting business requirements, designing technical specifications, and developing deployment plans.
  • Lead projects that will improve integrations and data management in support of the Incentive Compensation program.
  • Collaborate and build relationships within People team as well as IT/Data Management and Finance.
  • Stay up to date with latest industry research and actively participates in Workday and Anaplan product roadmaps for optimal optimization of applications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT/MIS, Human Resources, Finance, Data Analytics or 5 years related experience in lieu of degree.
  • At least 6 years of professional experience, of those, 4 years of experience as an Analyst with Workday HCM application and/or Anaplan, with Workday Compensation and Reporting (report writer, calculated fields, advanced reporting).
  • Understanding and knowledge of Data Hub/Data Lake solutions and Workday integrations and design.
  • Solid understanding of People/HR processes, in particular Compensation programs, plans and structures.
  • Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with experience in complex data analysis and integrations.
  • Understands and translates complex business rules and requirements into workable application solutions, with ability to then communicate succinctly and professionally to HR and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a range of people at all levels of the organization and be comfortable presenting and communicating to a variety of colleagues.
  • Experience with systems lifecycle and project methodology, including facilitating and preparing specifications, process flows, test plans, and cutover plans.
  • Excellent consultative, customer service, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, prioritize and handle a multitude of competing priorities.
  • Exercises confidentiality, professionalism, and independent judgement.

Preferred

  • Experience in a multi-regional healthcare, retail, or dental company.
  • Master’s Degree in Business, IT/MIS, Human Resources, Finance, Data Analytics or related field.
  • Experience in full development life cycle of Anaplan and/or other Incentive Management systems.
  • Workday Pro Certified (HCM Compensation, Reporting).

  • Extensive Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, software applications, and use of standard office equipment.
