The Product Owner, IT Enterprise Applications plays a crucial role in defining and driving the product roadmap, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products that meet customer needs and business objectives. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the product development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with overall business goals.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders, including customers, to understand the business needs and incorporate feedback into the product roadmap.
• Create and prioritize the product backlog based on customer and business value.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of features and enhancements.
• Regularly communicate the product roadmap to internal teams and stakeholders.
• Partner with the development teams during sprint planning to ensure a shared understanding of requirements.
• Plan and coordinate product releases, considering dependencies and potential impacts on other teams and systems.
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor product metrics for assessment.
• Utilize data-driven insights to inform decisions and continuously improve the product.
• Act as liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable requirements.
• Communicate product updates, milestones, and changes to stakeholders; ensure timely delivery of product releases.
• Gather and incorporate feedback from various sources to enhance the product.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or related field of study from an accredited college or university. In lieu of degree, 5 years of experience.
• 6 years of professional experience, including 3 years as a Product Owner in Agile Development.
• Certified Product Owner, Scale Agile Framework or related experience.
  
  

Preferred

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field of study from an accredited college or university.
• Experience in the dental, healthcare or retail industry.

• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Agile methodologies.

• Familiarity with product management tools and software.

Compensation Information

$116,000.00-$150,000.00 / Annually
