Analyst IT Systems Principal
Location: Tempe, AZ - Hybrid (2 days onsite / 3 days remote) - candidates MUST be local
Start: ASAP
Contract Length: 12 months, likely to extend
Pay: $80.00 - $97.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Summary
The principal analyst’s role is to architect, design, implement, and maintain performance monitoring solutions across technology domains both on premise and in the cloud. The principal analyst provides leadership and vision in architecture, strategy, and service offerings as it relates to performance management that includes: Application Performance Management, Customer End-user Experience, and Service Health performance monitoring. The principal will also assess the impact of future business needs on existing and future services and architectures.
What You'll Do
Minimum of 10 years cumulative and progressive post-degree experience
Education
Completion of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution plus an additional 18 graduate level college credits in an area of specialty. Master’s degree preferred.

Pay Details: $57.21 to $97.36 per hour

What You'll Do
- Act as a thought leader and arbiter of decisions in their specific areas of expertise.
- Provide ongoing evaluation of technology solutions and capabilities to ensure alignment with business objectives and identify areas of risk and opportunity.
- Performs as a project leader on important projects which are large or which have many complex features.
- Monitor and research application and system performance issues and produce trending and reporting related to application performance, event management, capacity management, including on premise and cloud resources
- Prepares specifications, evaluates bids, and prepares recommendation material for management consideration for important large or complex contracts, projects, or procurements.
- Performs as a staff consultant and/or advisor in a technical specialty.
- Prepares and/or conducts written and oral reports and presentations.
- Performs problem analysis, resolution, repair and recovery. Identifies trends and root causes of challenges, determines solutions, and makes recommendations for management consideration. Handles other duties and projects as assigned.
