This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Pay Details: $58.17 per hour

As a Cabin Systems Engineer, you will lead critical electrical systems tasks and activities, from customer requirements to post-delivery working party support. You will be an integral part of the team responsible for delivering top-tier solutions that enhance the passenger experience and optimize aircraft performance.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Electrical Systems Leadership: Represent the electrical systems team and collaborate with the Project Manager and multifunctional teams to define, design, and deliver electrical system solutions for cabin upgrades.
- Specification and Documentation: Create and write equipment specifications, block diagrams, wiring diagrams, and installation instructions for cabin electrical systems.
- Certification & Substantiation: Write and/or approve technical and substantiation notes, ensuring all electrical systems comply with applicable certification requirements (e.g., Functional Hazard Analysis, EMI, Electrical Load Analysis, etc.).
- Coordination & Support: Provide technical assistance during working parties, support the equipment and software evolution through the Equipment Design Evolution Sheet (EDES) process, and ensure all deliverables are on-time and of high quality.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all cabin electrical systems meet technical content requirements, and are fully compliant with industry regulations, standards, and customer specifications.
- Education: B.S. degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aeronautical, Electrical, Civil, or a related field).
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years in aviation engineering, specifically with aircraft cabin electrical systems and associated design, certification, and qualification processes.
- Key Skills:
- Expertise in embedded electrical systems engineering (ATA 23-24-25-26-33-44).
- Strong experience in cabin electrical systems architecture and substantiation.
- Knowledge of equipment qualification (ABD100, DO160, DO178).
- Experience with aircraft publications (AMM, AWM, IPC).
- Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with aircraft general knowledge.
- Delegated signatory for cabin electrical systems within DOA.
- Knowledge of EASA Part 21 (DOA/POA), Part 145, and CS25 regulations.
- Experience in technical project management and configuration management.
