This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
120.14 of the ITAR a U.S. person is defined as a person who is a lawful permanent resident of the United States. A lawful permanent resident is further defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20). A U.S. Person is also a protected individual which is defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
Job Summary
The candidate will work as an NC Programmer for the Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) program in Fort Worth. They will analyze engineering documents and create detailed computer-aided designs (MCAD) and 2D drawings for manufacturing processes while supporting production operations.
Skill Requirements Must-Have:
- Ability to interpret Engineering Drawings, Models, Bills of Materials, Technical Specifications, and Quality Documents
- Proficiency in creating MCAD operational models and 2D drawings
- Experience with developing Tooling/Fixture definitions
- Skilled in creating and maintaining CAM programs for Numerical Controlled equipment
- Knowledge of GD&T/Aerospace tolerances
Preferred:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of aircraft manufacturing processes
- Capability to mentor or train other engineers
Educational Requirements:
- Four (4) years college or eight (8) years of experience in the aircraft industry.
