Pay Details: $63.00 to $73.00 per hour

In this role, you will be at the forefront of new product development, focusing on technical risk management, customer missionization, and system verification for airborne complex electronic hardware. Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical tasks associated with new product development, ensuring milestones are met and projects stay on track.
- Identify, assess, and manage technical risks, ensuring project success and smooth development throughout.
- Collaborate across multiple functions to deliver high-quality solutions within defined deadlines and budget constraints.
- Ensure full compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Perform in-depth customer flow-down requirements analysis, feasibility assessments, and develop strategic technical solutions for testing, architecture design, and test development.
- Develop and maintain critical system documentation, including:
- System-level requirements
- Interface Control Documents
- Hardware Requirements Specifications
- Software Test Plans and Procedures (complying with DO-178)
- Hardware Verification Test Plans and Procedures (complying with DO-254)
- Airborne Complex Electronic Hardware Requirement Verification and Certification documents.
- Design and develop system verification test cases and scripts, validating system performance and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Regularly update and manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring alignment with system engineering perspectives and project goals.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to engineering team members throughout all stages of product development, from requirements definition to system architecture development, design, integration, and verification.
Must-Have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in the systems engineering process, including requirements analysis, verification, and validation testing.
- Expertise in DO-178 and DO-254 certification standards.
- In-depth understanding of Hardware Accomplishment Summary (HAS), Plan for Hardware Aspects of Certification (PHAC), and Stages of Involvement (SOI) for both DO-254 and DO-178.
- Experience with Sensors, Guidance, and Navigation systems.
- Proficiency with Requirements and Configuration Management tools such as IBM Rational DOORS, JIRA, Bitbucket, Bamboo, and Collaborator.
