PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) Engineering team in Everett, WA. This is your chance to play a pivotal role in shaping cutting-edge aerospace technology, optimizing aircraft performance, and ensuring compliance with critical safety and airworthiness standards.
What You’ll Do
- Utilize modeling, simulation, and data analytics to drive reliability and maintainability innovations.
- Serve as a technical expert, collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the aircraft lifecycle.
- Define and oversee technical performance measures (TPMs) such as schedule reliability and operational availability.
- Conduct failure mode analysis, reliability testing, and maintainability assessments using advanced digital tools.
- Partner with system suppliers, airline customers, and program leaders to drive engineering excellence.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.
- 14 years of engineering experience, including 5 years in reliability engineering for commercial aviation.
- Expertise in airplane systems design and engineering analysis.
- Proficiency in Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) tools such as CAFTA, ReliaSoft, or FaultTree .
- This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
- Strong project planning and execution skills.
- Proven technical leadership experience.
