Pay Details: $80.00 to $110.00 per hour

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Structural Analysis Engineer to join an elite aerospace team in Huntsville, AL. In this high-impact role, you will lead structural analysis efforts, ensuring the integrity and stability of cutting-edge aerospace systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and organize structural analysis work at the program level to ensure compliance with structural integrity requirements.
- Develop, integrate, and document complex structural requirements to establish system designs.
- Define and verify structural integrity through analytical methods, finite element models (FEM), and simulations.
- Work with customers and regulatory agencies to establish and validate certification processes.
- Support test execution, analyze results, and approve certification findings.
- Investigate emerging technologies to drive innovation in future aerospace designs.
- This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
- Expertise in classical hand analysis, primary structure analysis, and FEM modeling.
- Strong background in aircraft stress analysis and integrated design.
- Ability to work onsite, full-time (Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM).
- Aerospace experience (both structures and tools).
- Extensive primary aircraft structure experience (737, 747, 757, 777).
- Aerospace industry background, with experience in commercial and military aircraft applications.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-tech engineering environment.
