In this role, you will work on vital projects in the energy industry, helping shape infrastructure and contributing to COMPANY continued success.
About the Role : As a Design Consultant, your role will focus on assisting with the design process, reading and interpreting prints, and managing project aspects to ensure they are executed successfully. You’ll work on designs that have real-world applications in energy and infrastructure, contributing directly to projects that impact the community. While you’ll have a technical background in design, the focus is on applying your expertise to project management tasks, ensuring everything is on track.
Key Responsibilities :
Utilize AutoCAD (or MicroStation ) to create and edit designs and drawings.
Read and interpret architectural, electrical, civil, and plumbing design prints.
Manage various project management tasks while assisting with the design process.
Collaborate with team members to ensure designs meet industry standards and project requirements.
Handle customer requests and expedite project timelines when necessary.
Assist in city permitting processes and understanding building materials.
Use Bluebeam software for markup, collaboration, and document management.
Required Qualifications :
AutoCAD experience (preferred over Autodesk).
Experience in CAD or MicroStation (with a preference for CAD).
Ability to read and interpret architectural, electrical, civil, and plumbing design prints.
Knowledge of work management systems (such as WAM) is a plus.
Strong project management skills, with a focus on design.
Must be comfortable driving an COMPANY vehicle (please map out commute for consideration).
Hybrid Work : Initially on-site, with the option to work remotely once self-reliant (Wed & Thurs in-office).
Nice-to-Have Qualifications :
Experience in city permitting and familiarity with building materials .
Familiarity with Bluebeam software for document management.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay Details : 38.00 to 48.00 per hour
