Position Overview :
The Data Entry Associate will perform low-volume data entry tasks, manage electronic files, and assist in maintaining accurate data records across multiple systems. This role is integral to our operations as the associate will work with a range of business systems to capture and manage customer interactions, input sales orders, generate documents, and ensure data accuracy. The ideal candidate will possess a high attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Data Entry & Sales Order Entry :
Enter customer sales orders accurately into the company’s data management system, ensuring all order details are captured correctly.
Input customer call details and interactions into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (Salesforce experience is a plus).
Ensure accuracy of customer and order data, resolving discrepancies when necessary.
File Management & Document Production :
Perform basic management of electronic files, ensuring proper organization and easy retrieval of documents.
Compose and organize various documents, including envelopes, labels, form letters, and other correspondence as required.
Assist in the creation of reports or documents for internal and external use.
Data Field Accuracy Compliance :
Conduct routine checks to verify the accuracy of entered data.
Assist in maintaining data field accuracy compliance to company standards and reporting requirements.
Identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, or missing data in databases or files.
System Management & Multi-Tasking :
Navigate multiple open internet tabs and monitor systems simultaneously, ensuring smooth data entry and task completion.
Work within multiple systems at once, entering data efficiently and responding to requests across various platforms.
Follow standard work instructions and job aids to ensure tasks are completed consistently and accurately.
Collaboration & Communication :
Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and other departments to clarify data issues and resolve discrepancies.
Take direction from multiple sources and be able to prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance.
Job Specific Requirements :
Excellent Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills to document and report accurately.
CRM Experience : Experience entering and managing customer interaction data in a CRM system (Salesforce experience is desirable).
Dependability & Work Ethic : Reliable and consistent in completing assigned tasks with attention to detail.
Microsoft Office Proficiency : Experience with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and Excel, for formatting, document generation, and data entry tasks.
Computer Skills : Proficient with basic computer tasks, including copy / paste, searching, navigating tabs, and using internet-based applications.
Attention to Detail : A high level of accuracy in data entry, ensuring correct information is captured and errors are minimized.
Multi-tasking Ability : Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising the quality of work.
Adaptability : Ability to follow instructions, adapt to new processes, and apply job aids efficiently.
Shift :
Standard workday, with occasional flexibility as needed to meet business demands.
Education :
High School Diploma or GED required.
Additional Skills (Preferred but not required) :
Experience with data entry in web-based applications.
Prior experience in data management, administrative support, or operations-related roles.
Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Pay Details : 21.94 per hour
