Job Title : Fabrication Specialist
Type : Full-Time Consultant (6 months)
Location : Orangeburg, SC 29115
Shifts : Must be willing and able to work any shift based on business needs.
Pay Rate : 26.84 per hour
Job Description :
The Fabrication Specialist will be responsible for various fabrication, assembly, and installation tasks. The ideal candidate should have experience working with detailed instructions, blueprints, and specifications.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform machine setup, machining, welding setup, welding, sheet metal fabrication, and extrusion.
Conduct tube bending and fabrication tasks.
Execute composite lay-up, fabrication, and assembly tasks.
Assemble precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components.
Assemble, repair, modify, and install power plants and drive trains.
Perform soldering on electronic and avionics products.
Assemble and install wire harnesses and avionics components.
Prepare test articles, fixtures, and data collection devices for various tests.
Perform basic organic chemical conversion and paint preparation.
Apply routine organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance.
Work on moderately complex articles using established drawings and requirements.
Qualifications :
Experience : Minimum of 1 years of experience following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications (in English).
Technical Skills : Hands-on experience with fabrication, assembly, machining, and welding processes.
This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to precision manufacturing and fabrication projects
Pay Details : 26.84 per hour
