PDS Tech Commercial Inc, in partnership with a premier Industrial Air Compressor Service and Repair team in the Kansas City market is hiring a highly skilled Safety Valve Technician to join our client’s team and make an impact in industries like oil & gas, power, petrochemical, and more.
This role gives you the chance to work on diverse and exciting projects, both in-shop and onsite, while being part of a team that values your skills and invests in your future.
Pay : Up to 38 / hour
Shift : 1st shift (some weekend / on call duties)
Travel : Kansas City, MO metro area (90 mile radius)

What You’ll Do
Hands-On Repairs : Disassemble, clean, repair, and assemble safety valves according to manufacturer specifications.
Expert Troubleshooting : Calibrate, tag, and certify valves, ensuring they meet the highest standards.
Operate with Precision : Use tools like overhead hoists, sand blasters, parts washers, and torches to get the job done right.
Work Smart : Document job data using a database system, including photos and repair details.
Team Player : Assist in field assignments and collaborate with colleagues to deliver top-notch results.
What We’re Looking For
Required Skills :
Safety Valve Expertise : This is a must—control valve experience alone won’t cut it.
Proficiency with hand and power tools.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and organization.
Ability to travel locally, with a clean driving record.
Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying environments.
Preferred Skills :
Forklift operation certification.
Experience in industrial equipment repair or a similar field.
