Location: Northridge, CA | Job Type: Full-Time, 6-Month Contract | Pay Rate: 18.01 to 20.67 per hour

As a Maintenance Janitor you’ll play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our Northridge facilities. Your hard work will ensure that our teams have a clean and safe environment to thrive in, supporting groundbreaking aerospace innovations. What You’ll Do:

• Daily Cleaning: Empty trash receptacles, dust surfaces, and tidy furniture to prepare spaces for the next day.
• Floor Care: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain a clean, polished appearance.
• Restroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, and showers, while restocking necessary supplies.
• Window & Entrance Care: Clean mirrors, windows, and entrances, ensuring they reflect a welcoming and professional environment.
• Safety Awareness: Report any safety or sanitary hazards to the appropriate department for immediate attention.
• Additional Duties: Assist with other custodial and maintenance tasks as required to keep the facility in top shape.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 4 years of custodial work experience.
• Knowledge & Skills:
  • Proficient with industrial cleaning equipment and techniques.
  • Understanding of safe chemical disposal and usage.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
• Physical Abilities: Ability to climb ladders, work from heights, and maintain physical stamina throughout the day.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.    

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and conscientiousness in maintaining the facility.
• Experience working in large facilities or industrial settings.

Pay Details: 18.01 to 20.67 per hour
