Job Title : Quality Control Technician
Pay Rate : 25.22 - 29.64 per hour
Location : El Segundo, CA 90245
Schedule : Full-time; Consultant (12 Months), Monday to Friday, 9x80 Schedule

Position Description :
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to perform analyses and tests on raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role is critical in maintaining product integrity, ensuring manufacturing compliance, and contributing to continuous improvement in quality processes.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform analyses and tests on raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and tolerance specifications.
Conduct qualitative tests and assays on samples to verify chemical or physical properties.
Maintain and certify test instruments and apparatus for compliance.
Prepare and monitor quality statistics and reports to track performance trends.
Review production records for conformance to established procedures and standards.
Conduct non-conformance tests on manufactured, packaged, or tested products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience) :
Proven experience in quality control or a related field, preferably in a manufacturing or laboratory setting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in maintaining and operating test instruments and apparatus.
Ability to interpret and apply quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Effective verbal and written communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience) :
Experience preparing and analyzing quality statistics and reports.
Familiarity with reviewing production records for compliance with procedures.
Knowledge of non-conformance testing methods and tools.
