Quality Engineer III
Start : ASAP
Location : Everett, WA - 4 days onsite / 1 remote
Contract Length : 6 months to start
Pay : 45.00 - 55.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Summary :
Administer an effective manufacturing quality improvement process to ensure our clients products are compliant with all design requirements, company policies, federal regulations and customer standards.
The Quality Engineer will work cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Suppliers and Customers to accomplish goals and implement solutions.
Additionally, the Quality Engineer will assist in the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following with other duties as assigned :
- Participate in new Program activities to provide support in assuring Company policies and procedures are adhered to and Customer and Regulatory Requirements are accounted for
- Provide MRB support for nonconforming material, including containment activities, root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
- Analyze nonconformance data, both from internal and external sources to determine areas for improvement and pursue root cause corrective action as needed. Perform follow-up activities to ensure effectiveness of actions taken
- Act as facilitator and perform training in the proper use of root cause and corrective action analysis tools such as Ishikawa diagram, 5 Whys, 8D or similar
- Participate as an auditor in COMPANY Internal Audit program, as assigned
- Perform reporting to top management and Customers, as needed, to communicate Quality Performance, status of open corrective actions and ongoing improvement efforts
- Other duties as directed by the QA Manager
