Location : Tukwila, WA 98168
Job Type : Full-Time Consultant (12-month contract with possible extension through 11 / 2026)
Pay Rate : 67.45 - 76.82 per hour
Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM (OT available up to 25%)
Start Date : March 1, 2025
Day-to-Day Responsibilities :
Design Development : Develop and integrate structural requirements, ensuring systems meet design specifications and safety standards.
Analysis & Testing : Use analytical methods and finite element models (FEM) to verify structural integrity and performance.
Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to establish and refine product design and environmental factors.
Documentation & Reporting : Create test plans, analyze results, and generate detailed reports for regulatory bodies and customers.
Support : Provide ongoing support for in-service products, including failure analysis and recommendations for product improvements.
Required Qualifications :
Classical hand analysis and primary structure expertise
Strong background in aircraft stress analysis and structural analysis
Experience with FEM and integrated design / layout development
Proven ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
Must be able to work 100% onsite in Tukwila, WA
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and / or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies : 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications :
Aerospace experience (both structures and tools)
Experience with primary aircraft structure, particularly on commercial derivatives (737, 747, 757, 777)
Previous aerospace industry experience
Ability to adapt to rapidly changing conditions and complex engineering challenges

Pay Details : 67.45 to 76.82 per hour
