Structures Technician (Avionics Modifcations)

Location: Hartford, CT
Pay Rate: 34.59 - 41.66 per hour

Job Description:Join our team as a Structures Technician where you'll play a key role in aircraft structural modifications, repairs, and maintenance. In this position, you will:

• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and maintain customer aircraft.

• Fabricate or modify aircraft structural parts and perform repairs on composite components.

• Conduct hidden damage inspections and assist with complex structural repairs.

• Remove, install, and assist with aircraft components and systems as needed.

• Adhere to safety regulations, perform work in a timely manner, and document your tasks following proper guidelines.

• Operate ground support equipment and participate in 5-S activities.

• Collaborate with other maintenance disciplines and support off-site operations when required.

Requirements:

• Training from a sheet metal aircraft technical school or equivalent.

• Minimum 3 year of aircraft structural modification experience.

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings.

• Possess a basic set of hand tools.

• Flexibility to work overtime, including holidays and unscheduled days.

• Ability to obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications.

• Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge eligible.

• Preferred: A&P Certification, A Certification, or Repairman Certificate.

Pay Details: 34.59 to 41.66 per hour
