Role
PDW is seeking a CMM Programmer / Operator to join our team, contributing to the Quality Assurance program. The ideal candidate will thrive working in an innovative and fast-paced work environment, have excellent critical thinking skills, and will play a pivotal role in assuring product conformity to PDW's end users.
Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and execute CMM programs using PC-DMIS software to inspect and verify part dimensions.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to determine inspection requirements.
- Perform first-article inspections, in-process checks, and final inspections to ensure product quality.
- Utilize GD&T principles to conduct precise measurements and identify deviations.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address dimensional and quality issues.
- Maintain and calibrate CMM equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Generate detailed inspection reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Continuously improve CMM programming and inspection processes for efficiency and accuracy.
- Adhere to company quality standards and industry regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CMM Programmer & Operator.
- Proficiency in PC-DMIS software.
- Strong understanding of GD&T principles and applications.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and tools.
- Familiarity with Standard Measuring Instruments (Micrometers, Calipers, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Knowledge of ISO and AS9100 standards.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or within a team environment.
ITAR Requirement
