Job Description
We are seeking a FedEx Ground Delivery Driver to join our team! (Hiring immediately)
Duties and responsibilities:
· You will navigate a variety of routes throughout the delivery area
· Deliver products to customer locations in a timely manner
· Follow assigned routes and time schedules
· Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate the delivery vehicle
· Use navigation tools to determine the best route for each delivery
· Maintain accurate inventory of packages and materials
· Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures
· Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading goods up to 250lb with dolly and 150lb without
· Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner
· Qualified Driver applicants MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:
· Must be 21 years of age or older
· At least 1 year of driving experience
· Must be eligible to work in the US
· Must be able to pass a drug screening test
· Must have a valid Driver’s License
· Preferred experience in delivery driving (but not required)
· Clean driving record
· Ability to handle physical workload
· Detail oriented and organized
· Must follow safety guidelines
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
