About the Position
The PRB (NARM, Rawhide, Caballo) has eight openings for the DDS Regional Crew to join our Open Cut Maintenance team. This crew will be responsible for planned outages, not day-to-day maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and champion Peabody's Mission and Values.
- Adhere to Safety as a Way of Life Management System.
- Conduct safety observations and complete safety interactions monthly.
- Perform other duties assigned by the company.
About the Role
This position may require working weekends, holidays, or alternate shifts as deemed necessary. You will work outside during large outages and be scheduled at all locations by the Team Lead for the crew. You are responsible for traveling to mine sites with the needed tooling.

Requirements:
- A minimum of three years of mining-related or industrial experience working on large rope shovels and draglines.
- Ability to obtain a pit driving license at all three locations.
- Experience with shovel repairs, job scopes, and planning.
- Good communication skills with mine personnel.
- Experience with large outages.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Becoming confined space certified.
- Lifting and rigging training.
- Passing a 1-inch weld test or equivalent certification.
