Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and or review the daily processing of the represented and bi-weekly processing of the salaried payroll within UKG.
- Reconcile payroll data in UKG to SAP.
- Ensure compliance with Shoal Creek wage agreement.
- Balance Union contract days
- Track and log doctor's excuses
- Maintain "no call" list
- Maintain annual hoist physicals
- Assist Union workforce with any problems that may arise
- Assist HR with insurance issues and other areas as needed
- Other duties as required
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must demonstrate basic computer literacy skills.
- Must be able to complete records and reports as required.
- Must be willing to work on any assigned shift, overtime as required and on scheduled weekends.
- Must have high safety standards for self and others.
- Must follow company, state, and Federal plans and policies.
- Must be a self-starter who can work with minimal direction.
- One-year experience in computer input, payroll, bookkeeping, or other related systems preferred.
- Experience with UKG preferred.
- Must be capable of entering and retrieving information from the computerized payroll.
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs.
- Experience with SAP and SuccessFactors preferred.
- Must have good communication and telephone skills.
- Knowledge of State and Federal mining regulations is preferred.
- Must have the ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing
- Must have the ability to move from place to place within an office environment
- Must be able to use a computer
- Some positions may require occasional repetitive motion or movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
- Must have the ability to walk up and down stairs.
- Must have the ability to lift 25 to 50 pounds.
- Must have the ability to climb on and off equipment and ladders.
- Must be able to have vision for close up computer work as well as distance vision.
- High School Degree or GED Equivalent required
