Job Description
As a Surface Coal Miner Repair Technician with Peabody Energy, you will play a critical role in maintaining the health and safety of our surface coal mines.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting routine maintenance tasks on heavy equipment, such as shovels and draglines
- Repairing and troubleshooting technical issues to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure seamless operation of the maintenance crew
- Acting in accordance with and adhering to Safety as a Way of Life Management System
Qualifications
- Three (3) or more years of experience in mining-related or industrial roles
- Proven knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and repair principles
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
- Adherence to company policies and procedures
