TITLE: High School Records Clerk
REPORTS TO: High School Principal and Asst. Principal
SALARY: $27.37 Per Hour (per schedule C: AFSCME Union contract)
LOCATION: Peabody Veterans Memorial High School
HOURS: 35 hours per week Full-Time/All year
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must pass pre-employment physical examination (New Employees).
- Ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Must take and pass a Massachusetts criminal background check (New Employees).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position is responsible for performing clerical duties related to student records and assisting in coverage of the High School main office.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Provides extensive customer support;
- Edits student grades;
- Edits student schedules;
- Creates transcripts for new students;
- Receives requests for and issues transcripts;
- Sends transcripts through Naviance college software;
- Perform extensive documentation and maintains detailed records of all data sent out on behalf of students;
- Prepares High School diplomas;
- Prepare documents for the withdrawal of students, including the cumulative folder;
- Assists with the administrative duties of the main office;
- Performs other related duties as required.
