Job Summary
The Peabody Retirement Community is seeking an experienced full-time RN or LPN MDS Coordinator to oversee the coordination of RAI processes, ensuring timely and complete completion of MDS, CAA's, and Interdisciplinary Care Plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and guiding the timely completion of assessments
- Scheduling and facilitating care plan conferences
- Facilitating monthly Quality Management meetings
- Managing the Care Planning Process
Requirements:
- Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university
- Active RN/LPN license and CPR certification
- At least 2 years' experience in Long Term Care as an MDS Coordinator
Preferred Skills and Qualities:
- Outstanding knowledge of Case-Mix, Federal Medicare PPS process, and Medicaid reimbursement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Critical thinking abilities
- Solid understanding of federal, state, and local standards, regulations, and guidelines
- Ability to organize and prioritize
