We are looking for a Finance Manager Projects, who will be at the heart of this change, leading on strategic projects that will shape the future of Peabody’s finance function and help us deliver even greater social value.
Your Impact
As Finance Manager Projects, you will take the lead on shaping and delivering finance transformation initiatives that make a real difference. You will work closely with finance leaders, IT teams, and key stakeholders across Peabody to improve processes, optimise systems, and ensure financial governance supports our long-term ambitions. You will be instrumental in driving efficiency and clarity, helping Finance become a modern, forward-thinking function that maximises its impact.
What You’ll Do
- Lead high-profile finance transformation projects, ensuring they deliver meaningful improvements and long-lasting impact.
- Work with Finance Directors to understand strategic priorities and implement solutions that add value.
- Collaborate with IT, the PMO, and operational teams to integrate finance systems effectively and streamline processes.
- Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements that enhance accuracy, automation, and financial control.
- Provide clear, insightful project reporting and business cases that support informed decision-making.
- Champion data integrity and work with teams to ensure financial data is high-quality and well-governed.
- Facilitate workshops, provide tools, and support teams in embedding change in a way that is practical and sustainable.
- Attend and contribute to the Finance Steering Committee, influencing key decisions and driving transformation forward.
- Take a proactive approach to risk management, identifying issues early and ensuring they are addressed effectively.
