We are looking for an experienced Pre-Litigation/Recovery Analyst to manage charged-off receivables and negotiate settlements. This role involves credit analysis, skip tracing, and engaging with customers or their counsel to recover assets and negotiate settlements. The ideal candidate has 3 years of post-charge-off/recovery experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, with Salesforce and InfoLease experience preferred.
- Engage in outbound and inbound phone calls for pre-litigation customers and/or third parties for the purpose of recovering charged-off receivables
- Generate collection revenue, effectively negotiating settlements and payment arrangements with business customers and guarantors
- Mitigate losses through repossession and sale of assets
Essential Functions:
- Strong researcher with extensive skip tracing abilities
- Ability to analyze credit reports (business and consumer), payment histories, personal records, property values and assets to determine potential equity and ability to pay
- Provide thoughtful review and analysis of account information in order to establish the best possible outcome
- Negotiate settlements with customers and/or their counsel
- Ability to draft professional emails, letters, settlement agreements and other documentation, as may be required
- Capacity to work independently and as a team
- Present yourself in a courteous and professional manner
- Additional tasks deemed needed by management
- 3 years of Post Charge-Off/Recovery experience
- Knowledge of Commercial Contracts (Equipment Finance Agreements, Equipment Leases, and Working Capital Loans)
- Knowledge of the laws and processes involved in bankruptcy and assignment for the benefit of creditors
- Skip tracing
