Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Rehabilitation to lead our rehabilitation services team. This pivotal role involves overseeing the delivery of high-quality rehabilitation care in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of medical terminology, and experience in utilization management. The Director will be responsible for ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations while fostering a collaborative environment that promotes patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the rehabilitation department, ensuring efficient operations and high standards of patient care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with best practices in rehabilitation services.
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care plans and ensure effective utilization of resources.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to patient outcomes, departmental performance, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Utilize Point Click Care for documentation and data management.
- Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient satisfaction.
- Serve as a liaison between the rehabilitation department and other departments within the nursing home.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in aSkilled Nursing Facility setting, with a focus on rehabilitation services.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and sub acute care practices.
- Familiarity with utilization management processes and medical billing regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,644.00 - $105,000.00 per year
