- Location: Peace Lutheran Church, Conway, AR
- Hours: Monday – Thursday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, plus Sundays for worship support
- Compensation & Benefits:
- Full-time position with Concordia Plan health benefits
- Two weeks of vacation annually, paid holidays and personal days
- Salary commensurate with experience
- Must be a Christian and supportive of the teachings of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS)
- Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently
- Proficiency in Mac OS Catalina, Microsoft Office, ProPresenter, website updating, and social media management,
- Experience with bookkeeping or financial management preferred
- Willingness to work Sunday mornings and occasional special events
- The desire to join our congregation is preferred but not required
- Willingness to volunteer and participate for church ministry and fellowship activities Primary Responsibilities:
- Office Administration:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the church office
- Arrive on time & a “yes” heart attitude.
- Maintain church records, membership databases, and official documents
- Manage church communications, including emails, phone calls, and mail
- Coordinate church events, calendars, and facility scheduling
- Assist volunteer board chairs with ordering supplies and scheduling upcoming events
- Technical & Media Support:
- Proficiently use Mac OS Catalina (Word, Excel, Pages, Keynote, Safari, Mail) & Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Learn & Operate ProPresenter software for worship presentations
- Learn & Operate Church Worship Software – LSB & Creative Worship
- Update the church website with announcements, events, and content
- Manage and update church social media accounts
- Learn and maintain Church 360 database
- Financial & Bookkeeping Duties:
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, including tracking expenses and processing invoices
- Support financial reporting and coordination with the church treasurer
- Sunday Worship & Post-Worship Activities:
- Provide administrative and technical support for worship services
- Ensure bulletins, slides, and other materials are prepared
- Assist with post-worship duties as needed
- Assist with Funeral preparation and organization of food
- Community & Confidentiality Responsibilities:
- Must be sensitive to the social needs of individuals seeking assistance who may come in off the street
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding church records, financial information, pastoral matters, and personal matters of congregants
