Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Lead Carpet Cleaning Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpet cleaning,residential and commercial exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to lead a team of technicians. The role includes a competitive base salary and a lucrative upselling commission plan for additional services and products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and Manage Team:

  • Supervise, train, and mentor a team of carpet cleaning technicians.
  • Coordinate daily work schedules and ensure timely job completion.
  • Maintain high standards of performance and customer satisfaction.

• Carpet Cleaning:

  • Perform professional carpet cleaning services using industry-standard techniques and equipment.
  • Inspect carpets before and after cleaning to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
  • Address customer concerns and provide expert advice on carpet care and maintenance.

• Customer Service:

  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Present and explain additional services and products to customers, highlighting the benefits.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience by delivering exceptional service and follow-up.

• Upselling and Commission:

  • Identify opportunities to upsell additional services such as upholstery cleaning, stain protection, and deodorizing treatments.
  • Promote and sell maintenance packages and carpet care products.
  • Earn commissions based on the successful upselling of services and products.

• Equipment and Maintenance:

  • Operate and maintain carpet cleaning equipment in good working condition.
  • Perform routine checks and minor repairs on equipment as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and inventory of supplies.

• Administration:

  • Complete job reports, customer invoices, and payment processing accurately.
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
  • Provide feedback to management on service improvement and customer trends.

Qualifications:

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in professional carpet cleaning.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.

• Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of carpet cleaning techniques, equipment, and products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to upsell services and achieve sales targets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Other Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay rate: Base Pay Upsell Commission (Hourly)

*Paydays are twice a month on the 3rd and 17th of each month. If the 3rd or 17th falls on a weekend or holiday then payday will be the next business day after.
