ARMHS Worker/Mental Health Practitioner - Full-time

We have an amazing and diverse ARMHS team. If you have a passion to help others, this is the job for you! We are currently providing ARMHS in Carlton County, Lake County and St. Louis County.
ARMHS Practitioners provide in-home and community-based mental health rehabilitative services to people in the form of instruction, support, and coaching for the purpose of promoting psychiatric stability, increased social functioning and competencies, personal and emotional adjustment, and independent living skills.
Primary functions and duties:
- Provide mental health rehabilitative services to individuals.
- Be able to manage your own caseload.
- Engage people from empowerment, strength-based perspective.
- Understand and implement person-centered practices.
- Develop trusting and therapeutic relationships.
- Complete Functional Assessments, Individual Treatment Plans, progress notes, and other required documentation (training provided)
- Participate in group clinical supervision and other meetings as required.
- Learn and utilize skills drawn from Illness Management & Recovery and other evidence-based practices.
Peace of Mind is looking for a team player who is passionate about our mission! A qualified individual has excellent “people” skills. This individual must also meet one of the following criteria:
- Has completed at least 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours in behavioral sciences or related fields and has completed 2000 hours (about 1 year) of experience in the delivery of services to individuals with a mental illness; a substance use disorder; a traumatic brain injury; or a developmental disability; OR
- Has completed 4000 hours (about 2 years) of experience in the delivery of services to individuals with a mental illness; a substance use disorder; a traumatic brain injury; or a developmental disability.
Necessary qualifications:
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must possess valid auto insurance.
- Must have a reliable vehicle.
- Must be willing to travel locally (mileage reimbursement)
- Must be adaptable to a variety of environments and settings in the community.
- All hires must undergo and pass a background check
