Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life, and will be responsible for delivering personalized care in the client's home/
Duties
- Provide patient observation and monitor clients' physical and emotional well-being.
- Assist individuals with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medications as prescribed while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to clients' dietary needs and preferences.
- Assist with mobility, including lifting clients safely when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity at all times.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client's condition to office and nurse staff.
Experience
- Previous experience in home community care or long-term care settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with medication administration practices is a plus.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards is essential.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting and assisting clients with mobility.
