| Location: | On-campus, in-personESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting to the Director of Buildings and Grounds, the individual holding this position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:● Perform general painting, power washing, light carpentry, and other handyman skills needed to complete assigned jobs.● Prepare and paint interior and exterior walls, ceilings, trim and other surfaces.● Perform necessary prep work such as taping edges, covering or removing fixtures, protecting flooring, covering or removing furniture, etc.● Clean, sand, scrape, repair, and prime surfaces to ensure proper paint adhesion.● Perform minor drywall patching and finishing to remove imperfections prior to painting.● Apply stains, finishes, and sealants for aesthetic and protective purposes.● Use brushes, rollers, and sprayers. Operate spray equipment for efficient and precise application on large surfaces.● Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors; submit daily work order reports to document project progress.● Adhere to all safety guidelines. Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition.● Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance and job site.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
