Looking for a tutor that is bilingual in French and English and can teach a special needs adult French.
This is a flexible opportunity with room to grow and get more clients.
Please note: This is a contract position (1099) and that the client can cancel at anytime.
About the job:
This is an IN-PERSON, 1:1, tutoring class with a wonderful adult individual with an intellectual and or developmental looking to learn French in Sandyston, NJ.
Time of class: TBT - depending on what works for you & the client
Potential to find more clients in your area or virtually, if you're interested in more.
**MUST have experience with individuals with intellectual and development disabilities.**
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Tutor to join our team. As a Tutor you will have the opportunity to educate and inspire students. If you have a love for the special needs field and a desire to make a positive impact on young minds, we encourage you to apply.
Qualifications
-MUST speak fluent English and French
- Strong tutoring and teaching skills
- Experience in curriculum development and utilizing learning technology
- Proficiency in classroom management and working with children
- Background in adult education, childcare, and special education
- Ability to create effective lesson plans and adapt teaching methods
- Experience working with students of various ages and educational backgrounds
- Knowledge of early childhood education and preschool teaching
- Possession of a valid driver's license
- Ability to work with individuals with disabilities and developmental disabilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective time management abilities
- Typing proficiency
```Responsibilities:```
- A Tutor is responsible for helping students with individualized assistance. They study lesson plans and review textbooks to prepare for a tutoring session, which includes preparing additional projects as well answering questions about the material being covered in class or on an assignment if needed.
