About the job:
This is an IN-PERSON, 1:1, music class (Guitar) with a wonderful adult individual with a intellectual and or developmental .
The client is located in Avenel, NJ and you must travel to their home for class.
Time of class: TBT - depending on what works for you & the client
Potential to find more clients in your area if you're interested in more.
**MUST have experience with individuals with intellectual and development disabilities.**
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Music Teacher to join our team. As a Music Teacher, you will have the opportunity to educate and inspire students in the art of music. If you have a love for music and a desire to make a positive impact on young minds, we encourage you to apply.
```Responsibilities:```
- Develop and implement engaging music lessons for students of all ages (guitar for this specific client)
- Teach students how to play various musical instruments
- Provide guidance and support in vocal training and performance techniques
- Create a positive, professional and inclusive learning environment
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students, including those with special education requirements
```Skills:```
- Experience working with students in an educational setting
- Strong tutoring and mentoring abilities
- Proficient in music theory, composition, and performance techniques
- Knowledge of behavior management strategies
- Familiarity with special education practices is a plus
-Experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Additional skills in culinary, art or photography are advantageous
