What are the responsibilities and job description for the Irrigation Technician position at Peaceful Valley Irrigation and landscape?
The Irrigation Technician position fulfills the role of troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems on residential and commercial property sites.
Ideal candidate:
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience
- Knowledge of timers/valves/pumps/backflows
- Can install and maintain irrigation systems
- Some post-secondary training in irrigation or landscaping preferred
Minimum requirements:
- Follow verbal and/or written instruction
- Follow safety guidelines at all times
- Have effective customer service skills
- Have reliable transportation to work
- Have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Maintain a professional appearance
This position is seasonal full-time (40-50 hours/week).
Pay rate is determined based on experience.
