Job Details
MRI TECHNOLOGIST
Start Date : ASAP (4 weeks from offer for compliance requirements)
Shift : 4x10 Evenings (Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday) - will confirm shift times.
Types of Cases REQ : Acute, in patient and out patient hospital. Heads, spines, extremity exams, abdominal.
Number of Beds / Cases : 20-25 scans / procedures per day.
Years of Experience REQ : 1 yr experience. Required : Demonstrated venipuncture competency. Required : Demonstrated knowledge of radiologic and MRI terminology, practices, procedures, physiology, and human cross-sectional anatomy. Required : Demonstrated competency in computer-based programs as they relate to MR applications. Required : PACS / RIS knowledge. Preferred : ImageCast / CareCast experience and EPIC experience.
First-Timers Accepted : Yes but previous travel preferred
Weekend REQ : Yes, see shift above
Guaranteed Hours : 40 per Week
Common Equipment : Siemens 1.5T Aera and 3T Vida
Job Requirements
BLS, OBMI lic, and either ARRT(R), ARRT(MRI), ARRT(Sonography), Certified nuclear med tech, or American Registry of MRI Technologists Certification.
ARRT (MR) certification will be required within one year of hire date if they extend for that long (except for ARMRIT Technologists).
Valid state licensure / certification as required for services being performed.
