Job Details
ICU SURGICAL RN
Start Date : ASAP (4 weeks from offer for compliance requirements). Orientation for this unit will be held bi-weekly on Mondays. i.e. 12 / 23, 1 / 6, 1 / 20 etc
Shift : 3x12 variables
Ratios : 1 : 2
Years of Experience REQ : Minimum one year Required : Critical Care Experience. Management of ventriculostomy, EVD, and ICP. Nursing care of patients with non-traumatic ICH, non-traumatic SAH, seizures. Nursing care of patients post tPA, thrombectomy, aneurysm coiling, carotid artery stenting and intra-cranial stenting. Management of blood pressure abnormalities with parenteral vasoactive agents. Completion of complex neurological assessments / scales. Would like CV or Neuro experience.
Epic Experience REQ? 1 year of Epic experience is required.
First-Timers Accepted : I am looking for a trained nurse with experience. Would prefer an experienced traveler with 2-3 prior completed assignments.
Weekend REQ : Must be open to working any and all days.

Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week
Unit Specific Information
Must have CVICU, SICU, or Neuro ICU in work history.
Travelers float between SICU and MICU. Also float to Telemetry, Acute Care (neurology, Surgical, Ortho / Med) Obs, ED boarding. MUST BE OK WITH FLOATING!
