This position is a key member of our cardiac cath lab team, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of the department. As a Cardiovascular Technologist - Cath Lab Specialist, you will work closely with our physicians and nurses to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Perform various cardiovascular procedures, including coronary angiography, peripheral interventions, and electrophysiology studies
- Operate complex medical equipment, such as fluoroscopy machines and ultrasound devices
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab setting
- Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
