Responsible for the day-to-day application support needs of our internal customers. Researches and investigates the business processes within the department.
Details of the Position:
- Consults with customers to understand workflows, processes, and gathering business requirements to support the business needs. Translates business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Identifies and resolves issues under moderate guidance and supervision. Partners with peers and Sr. Analysts to reach resolution. Builds relationships with customers and business partners by following through on minor to complex tasks to ensure proper resolution.
- Reviews work daily to establish priorities and distinguish important and urgent tasks with moderate guidance.
- Troubleshoots and thoroughly documents application issues, business requirements and workflows and prepare and communicate solution design options.
- Participates in testing, performs the tests and debugs the application to ensure the system functions as designed and meets end-user requirements.
- Maintains system documentation in an up-to-date and orderly manner. Assists in the development of support documentation for end-user guidance, per department standards, and submits system changes following department change management procedures and protocols.
- Performs application support activities in accordance with defined procedures and processes under moderate supervision.
- Analyzes, investigates, troubleshoots and responds to support tickets via phone calls, emails and ticketing system with guidance of Analyst or Sr. Analyst as needed.
- Provides troubleshooter on-call support (day/evening) on a rotational basis.
- Participates in analysis and design projects as requested.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree Required: Computer Science. Or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience Or
- Bachelor's Degree Required: Clinical. Or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience Or
- Bachelor's Degree Required: Business. Or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience
- Minimum of 1 years related business experience with ability to work on information technology projects facing PeaceHealth
- Experience working with software and hardware technology including designing, configuring, training, or implementing applications, through job experience or education.
- Preferred: Healthcare operations background and
- Preferred: Experience with clinical or business workflow analysis for the development of electronic solutions with assigned application and
- Preferred: Certifications relevant to supported applications
- Strong Knowledge of MS Office and Backoffice client applications (Required)
- Close attention to detail and improves the overall customer experience. (Required)
- Ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative manner. (Required)
- Communicates professionally and precisely, verbally and in writing, with all levels of personnel, including senior management. (Required)
- Ability to manage priorities and complete assigned tasks according to established timelines and deadlines and demonstrates flexibility when priorities change. (Required)
