RN Inpatient - OP Infusion

PeaceHealth is seeking a RN Inpatient - OP Infusion for a Part Time, 0.60 FTE, Variable position.

The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $40.09 – $76.12. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

This position is represented by a collective bargaining agreement. There may be more than one opening on this posting.

Provides professional nursing direct patient care in compliance with professional practice and unit standards. Promotes a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach towards patients, families and all members of the care delivery team.

Details of the position:

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs.
• Documents patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards.
• Directs and delegates care to other team members in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence.
• Ensures own professional effectiveness through education and professional development.
• Participates in the development of and maintains established hospital policies, procedures and objectives, quality improvement, safety, environmental and infection prevention program.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What you bring:

• Accredited School of Nursing Required: Nursing and
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing and
• Preferred: Specialty certification
• One year of recent RN inpatient in a procedural setting experience required
• Two years preferred: RN experience in an acute care setting, medical/surgical, specialty outpatient setting.
• Central line, IV and PICC line care and knowledge preferred.
• Experience with ultrasound guided IV insertion and/or obtain within six months of date of hire.
• Previous oncology and infusion experience as a RN also preferred.
• Required: Registered Nurse and
• Required Upon Hire: Basic Life Support
• ACLS according to Resuscitation Training Completion Requirements policy.
• Chemotherapy Biotherapy Provider Certification (ONS) upon hire or within six months of date of hire.
